Cagewarriors Light-Heavyweight Champion Michael Bisping defends his Title Against Jakob \"Striking Viking\" Lovstad in Mixed Martial Arts/Ultimate Fighting action at the Skydome Arena, Coventry on October 1st

/Martial Arts News Articles/ - COVENTRY, ENGLAND, September 08, 2005 -- Warrior Promotions along with the Cagewarriors Fighting Championships are proud to announce the first confirmed fights for the 3rd show in the "Strike Force" series at the Skydome Arena in Coventry.

The show is currently headlined by the undefeated Michael "The Count" Bisping who faces his toughest challenge yet in his MMA career, when he takes on the extremely talented and dangerous Jakob "Striking Viking" Lovstad. Some argue that Lovstad is one of Europe's top Light-Heavyweight fighters and is on the verge of following some of his team mates by fighting on the bigger shows outside Europe.

So can Bisping continue his dominant run and unbeaten streak, or will Lovstad repeat his previous UK performance earlier this year and walk away with another impressive victory.

This show features another 6 confirmed fights which see some exciting international match-ups alongside some intriguing domestic match-ups which feature some young local fighters looking to make their mark on the UK MMA scene.

Cagewarriors also hope to confirm another 3 or 4 more bouts for this show on October 1st, which should see the return of the Brazilian behemoth Zuluzinho and Tom Blackledge from the Wolfslair Academy in Widnes, England, as well as several other high level international fighters.
