In February 2010, Tiger Claw Martial Arts Supply joined GurlFytrz' effort to educate the public about women and their families' safety.

In February 2010, Tiger Claw Martial Arts Supply joined GurlFytrz' effort to educate the public about women and their families' safety. Tiger Claw Martial Arts Supply will now offer the GurlFytrz' trademarked logo on the many items Tiger Claw supplies. Member Martial Arts Schools will be able to purchase these items at wholesale prices. All this will "kick off" at the "Golden Gate Nationals in San Jose April 9-10 and 11. Tiger Claw is an awesome company that makes helping Non-Profit organizations a priority.

GurlFytrz (GirlFighters ) mission is to educate women and their families about self-defense and safety as well as domestic violence. It is a nationwide effort to fight domestic abuse & empower women with strength, self confidence, and independence, yet live life with passion, grace and style.

Founded in 2004, GurlFytrz (GirlFighters ) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit that helps Domestic Violence Victims and their children. Founder of GurlFytrz, Marcia Mason, is a veteran Martial Artist whose vision has been in the works since 2004. The long term goal is to provide housing, education, job training, fitness, self-defense, and counseling at GurlFytrz own self-run, well protected safe ranches, which will be overseen by Martial Artists all over the country. That vision is now quickly becoming a reality due to her tenacity and perseverance as well as the recent affiliation with some well known names in the Martial Arts Industry.

This is a nationwide campaign to offer free Self-Defense and Martial Arts classes to women, teen women and children. GurlFytrz is inviting Martial Arts schools across the United States to join them in the efforts to spread the word about family safety. United Professionals (UP) has joined the cause in 2009 as an Affiliate School. Greg Silva, owner of UP who provides Martial Arts Schools around the country with valuable information on how to run successful academies, continues to encourage and support GurlFytrz with his wisdom and guidance.

In November 2009, Karate Plus Martial Arts Personal Development Center in San Antonio, a United Professional Member school, joined GurlFytrz as an Affiliate Member School. Grandmaster Larry Lockhart, Sr. was selected the Texas State Director of GurlFyrtz Non-Profit Organization and continues with his efforts to spread the word across Texas and its Martial Arts schools to join the endeavor to save lives.
